Though I disagree with much of your terminology, I agree that criticisms by the Conservative Democrats are insipid. There is a great danger in dismissing Ocasio-Cortez with attempts to besmirch her intelligence. Only the Conservative Democrats are laughing at her. The rest of us have heard their schtick for a long time and have dismissed them. Personally, I debunked them in The Washington Post nearly forty years ago, calling their balanced budget obsession “an accounting nicety”.

What she is saying is intelligent and dangerous to the United States and its people. Hence my article.
